Craanford NS retain their School's Showjumping title

Congratulations to Caitroín, Brídín, Aidan and Patrick on a great achievement.

It was such a feat to keep our title for a second year.
The school is very grateful for the time and effort of the parents involved also.
The competition was tough from all the other schools who took part.

Joshua's Garden

Well done to Joshua Doyle on developing a garden space for the school.

He raised money through a mini-shop initiative.
The funds were then used to create a planting area and wildflower space.

First Communion

Well done to all our First Holy Communion pupils.

The ceremony was lovely on Saturday.
We thank Mrs. Conroy for all her dedication.
We say thanks to Fr. Byrne for all his help too.

Music Competition 2015

Craanford NS are into the last six of the prestigious  and will perform in the National Concert Hall on May the 11th.

There are 43 children involved in the performance, which includes singing, dancing and playing various instruments.

The performance piece is entitled "Frozen with a Traditional Twist". Great credit goes to Sinéad and Mandy for all their work in preparing the group for the big day.  The school is very proud of all the children and we wish them well on the day. Walton's have committed €10,000 in prize money for the competition.

F.A.I. School's 5-a-side

Our Boys and Girls competed in the Gorey section of the F.A.I. School's 5-a-side. It was a huge event, held in the Showgrounds on Wednesday 25th March. The day was very well organised and ran very smoothly also. One of our boys teams made it through to the South Leinster Finals. This next round will be held in Bunclody on Thursday week 23rd.Best of luck to the boys on the day.
